Heba Kadry Mastering

This studio included a full build-out of a 440 sq. ft. mastering level playback room, as well as the adjacent utility spaces. Natural light pours in through the custom angled glass window inserts, added for isolation from the Brooklyn neighborhood below. We achieved low frequency linearity in the room through extensive on-site testing of custom tuned membrane absorption, all hidden behind fabric walls. Above the mix position is a geometric design in fabric that echoes traditional Arabic architectural shapes, a subtle nod to the engineer’s roots. Walnut millwork accents the fabric walls and frames the acoustical door.
